The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 蹤獲扦has named four recipients of $40,000 in scholarships for Butler Community College students interested in furthering their business education. These scholarships will help amplify and activate the coordinated 2+2 program between the two schools where Butler students will receive their associates degree and pursue a business degree at 蹤獲扦.

Wayne and Kay Woolsey Hall, the new home of W. Frank Barton School of Business at 蹤獲扦 University, has a new, dynamic art installation sure to draw the eyes of passersby.

In association with the Phi Theta Kappa honor society, the W. Frank Barton School of Business at 蹤獲扦has given three, multi-year scholarships to transfer students committed to joining the business program. This three recipients hail from three different community colleges across Kansas.

Two uniquely interactive sculptures have been installed next to Woolsey Hall, the home of the W. Frank Barton School of Business at 蹤獲扦 University, as part of the Ulrich Museum of Arts world-class Martin H. Bush Outdoor Sculpture Collection. Ernest and Ruth (2015) is a public sculpture that doubles as a bench and has the unmistakable shape of a speech bubble. Two of these sculptures are located slightly off the main traffic area leading up to Woolsey Hall to encourage interaction.

Nov. 15, 2022 蹤獲扦's Jonathan Folkerts, Jarred Novak and Trent English presented papers on the design of their neutrino detector prototype at the International Astronautical Congress in Paris, representing the NASA-funded Solar Neutrino Orbiting Laboratory Detector Development Project.

Woolsey Hall, the home of the W. Frank Barton School of Business at 蹤獲扦 University, has unveiled its first sculpture to join the Ulrich Museum of Arts world-class Martin H. Bush Outdoor Sculpture Collection. Lumen, the cast bronze sculpture of a horse created initially out of found wood, stands near the serene pond that stretches around the southern wall of Woolsey Hall. The art serves as a focal point for all visitors to the landscaped public space.

For over 50 years, the Mikrokosmos literary journal has allowed 蹤獲扦 students to publish their creative writing in an esteemed journal, and they are accepting submissions once again.

The Deans Alumni Advisory Board for the W. Frank Barton School of Business has appointed new leaders. Erin Cummings, owner and founder of YESyoga, will serve as president, while Ryan Potter, director of Portfolio Development at Koch Investment Group, will serve as her vice president. Cummings and Potter have both sat on the board since 2020.

Oct. 20, 2022 The FirePoint Innovations Center at 蹤獲扦wrapped up the second year of its Future Innovators Program, an engineering internship opportunity that provides some of Americas brightest engineers from historically under-represented communities the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and programs that directly support the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Center and the Department of Defense.

Oct. 26, 2022 蹤獲扦 and other adjacent regional universities were recently included in a grant to expand access for remote use of Oklahoma State Universitys supercomputer. The computer can process large amounts of data at once and is housed at the OSU Stillwater campus.
